Jia-Qi Shi (Jaki)
Jaki is a visual designer and new media artist, holding degrees from the Royal College of Art and Sichuan Fine Art Institute. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Media and Arts at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Her practice and research focus on generative art, cultural symbol, scripts and visual experience, combining poetic expression with research-driven methodologies. Her artworks and researched have been showcased
at leading exhibitions and academic conference, including Ars Electronica, SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, VISAP, ISEA, the European Science Festival et al. Her design works have also received major awards, including Award 360 Best Experimental Design of the Year, a Silver Award at the GDC Awards, a Silver Award at the Founder Award, and the KTK Design Award et al.
