Jia-Qi Shi (Jaki)
Jaki is a visual designer and new media artist, holding degrees from the Royal College of Art and SCFAI. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Media and Arts at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Her practice and research focus on AI, cultural symbol, scripts and visual experience. Her artworks have been showcased at Ars Electronica, ISEA, the European Science Festival, VINCI, and other global exhibitions and academic conferences. Combining poetic expression with research-driven methodologies, Jaki focuses on the translatability and resonance of symbols, language, and scripts within cross-cultural contexts. Through visual language, she seeks to bridge the distance between audiences and unfamiliar cultures.Email:
